This is urgent. The current crisis is forcing Australians to stay at home, and children to study online, increasing the time they are exposed to gambling ads.
We already know that people who are socially isolated are more vulnerable to gambling harm, and online gambling has increased by 67%.
We must act quickly to ensure our children are protected during this crisis.
Like you, many of our Members of Parliament (MPs) are parents who are deeply concerned about the impact of gambling advertising on both their kids and the community at large.
Our elected leaders have the power to #EndGamblingAds. They’ve done it before with big tobacco, and need to urgently do the same here!
